Female Protagonists and Suicide Pact Stories (e.g., Romeo and Juliet)

Dear Subscriber,

My story (along with poet Anuparma Sharma) Jasmine is in this collection of excellent independent romance stories. It’s the only place where they’ll publish my subversive prose! LOL. The editor told me her publishing group were anarchists, so I guess that’s why we don’t get paid.

Anyway, I have a few paperback copies and will send you an autographed copy so you can read a story I think is one of my best literary stories. Trigger warning: it’s about an old vet and former English teacher who establishes a suicide pact with a woman in India during 2020 Covid. I need your snail mail address to send it to you. You can show it to your Bridge Club (or poker) or even Book Club (I can get you 30% off the price). There are (seriously) some excellent stories other than mine in it. All by independent authors of high quality and imagination.

True story: I sent Jasmine to an anthology editor who was featuring “Your Best Writing” and he “informed me” that he couldn’t publish my best story because it was about a suicide pact. I told him that if he were in Japan, my story would be the first one featured in the anthology. LOL! Cultural differences. I love them!

Have a great rest of this week and keep reading!
