New York Times and Amazon Try to Stop the Rise of Indie Authors
Although indie authors who sell eBooks are more popular than their Big Publishing counterparts, they aren’t getting the respect their successful fight should bring. A recent move by the New York Times Book Review and Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited attempts to push indie authors back down below traditional publishing once again. We at EMRE Publishing are fighting back on behalf of all independent authors by running a Kickstarter campaign aimed at pairing technical ePub3 developers and indie authors to create four satirical stories based on a political theme.
THE HORRORS, FANTASIES AND SCIENCE FICTIONS OF LIFE IN THE TRUMP ERA
Four different ePub3 formatted satirical stories will be featured, and authors and one administrator will share in the profits of eBooks sold in the Embellisher Publishing Platform. Supporters may also join at the reader level, allowing them to get a bird’s eye look at how each eBook will be developed as well a free copies of the final projects. The categories include:
