Dear Subscriber,
In my futuristic homage to George Orwell’s classic 1984, Life in 2050, my novel was a Finalist in the Best SciFi Awards at the Chanticleer International Book Awards. Not only is the future beset with the aftermath of war and climate change disaster, we have “Big Bro” on the West Coast. Makes the surfing really bad, man! Also, remember all those meditating and medicating young socialists screaming to “Live in the Eternal Now”? They’ve come to power all over the feckin’ world!
That’s about it for the future. I’ll go back to writing my serial killer story set in the past (thank God!).
